Children experience and interact with spaces differently than adults do. With more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education, I bring a developmental perspective to organizing children’s rooms and family spaces.

I consider accessibility, independence, developmental stages, routines, and the realities of family life when designing organizational systems, creating spaces that are intuitive and functional for the people who use them every day.

When appropriate, I also invite children to be part of the organizing process. When children have a voice in how their spaces are organized, they can develop a greater sense of ownership, independence, and confidence in caring for their belongings and their environment.
